It was over 2 years ago that I completed my most ambitions work of art, DJ Dalai Lama. This painting explores the concepts of the transformative and spiritual experience of music and art. It also draws parallels to modern live entertainment and religious iconography idolization. I am now inspired to create another work of art more ambitious than this painting to reflect my tremendous growth as a creative person in the 2 years following its creation.

I painted this pair as a gift for Deepak Chopra to thank him for his support of Peach's Neet Feet. Peach's Neet Feet is a non-profit organization that I volunteer for and what we do is gift hand painted shoes to children living with life threatening diseases.
